Effective principles based on Interactive Designs for boosting the experience of UX Design

The process of amplifying the experience of the user by enhancing the usability, efficiency of interaction with websites and user accessibility in the web design is a User Experience Design. People almost spend more than 4 hours on swiping through various web pages of sites every day using devices like tablets, mobile phones, laptops etc. Internet user gets attracted to the content and functionality of a product that is easy in use, useful to the customer, technically sound and commercially interactive. Certain valuable principles ensure that website or application work smoothly and become myriad of others in the queue.

1. The sole purpose of design is to enhance the customer experience

People often forget about the content of a website or application, but they do remember the experience they felt. UI Design has become the critical part of a web application. The combination of text, graphics, audio, visual story is integral to provide help in ensuring that customer experience is good and interactive. Besides the informational content view, the incorporated interface design should be simple.

2. Viewers surf through websites; they don’t go deep into content

The site should be interactive because most of the user doesn’t go deep into the content and superficially just read it. In today’s time, more and more graphics with little intel is the new standard format followed by websites to spread the information, instructional data. A survey has shown that people read the website content only when they find it interesting otherwise they just corner it and moved ahead. Online users just read the headlines instead of going deep and read further. So, the interface of the website should be interactive with exciting content.

3. The user expects a more straightforward and clear picture of the site

In a split of a second, the user can decide whether he wants to visit a website or not. So, designers and developers should be clear about the user mind. The user doesn’t want to think that what they have to do. They want some action preference in today’s interface time. Everyone wants to work on a more straightforward website and app. Designing is a part of the site, but functionality majorly delivers the little extra in interfacing. Websites built in more straightforward type of designs is simple for users who don’t want to put extra thought in mind. The reusable components, colors, aesthetic behavior makes the people think less. The best part of the simpler design is that the user is familiar with many elements on the site, and thus they make the system lot simple and clear to start with.

4. Be clear with the idea of creativity and usability of patterns of design

With new innovative and advanced UI patterns, one should be aware, as these are being used very commonly. Don’t put pressure on the people in thinking which common component is where. With constant web surfing, users have now become familiar with various types of interfaces. For reference, buttons on the web application or site should look like buttons only. Logo and name of the company is typically in the upper leftmost corner and log in or signup is in the upper rightmost corner. When one shows a lot of creativeness with simple designs and patterns, it might look good, but it might not provide good usability. Hence, you have to maintain the balance of interface creativity and usability. Some key features like Navigation, button and URLs and their placement in the design should be the prime focus as usability is more important than designs. Therefore, it has been a recommended practice of working on layout first then design.

5. Design should be attractive and should hold the people’s mind rather than just holding the eyes

As per UX Research, you should put the folding capability in the design contextually. For every device, the folding capacity varies like for laptop; it is three times as lower as that of desktop and for a mobiledevice; the fold is two times lower than that of the laptop. The content lying above the fold is integral and more important then that is capturing the attention of the user towards the experience rather than keeping everything above. The content lying above the fold is essential as per the hierarchy of various informational data because this is what people see at first, however, once you establish the balance among the behaviors like simplicity, clarity, and experience, the changeable fold line in the context can be put as many variables. You should place the critical content above the fold. And people forget about the other important thing in the site navigation is scrolling.

6. The Scrolling Vs. Paging

Website designers now make and design sites as per vertical interfacing norms. Now you can find many modern theme-based websites are as many as 6+ pages long. The web navigation is flattered in many terms just like the output. People save clicks on design demands. People look for an easy shortcut and are continuously in search of fast routes to achieve what they desire. People like to scroll than to click. People scan the website on an average of 6.5 seconds. In mobile, panning has become stronger than the frequency of scrolling down and likewise flicking is.

7. The site should be more responsive

In last few years, responsive designs in websites and app for liquidity and fluid interfacing have become popular. It is imperative that you constitute the site responsively. Users now use all devices of varying screen size, and you want your website and apps to look good in every gadget that the user has. The size of images and text sometimes seems shady even if the site opening on devices is responsive. And that’s the difference between just responsive and nicely responsive.

Thus, the central part of UX design is bringing more and more interactivity and engaging user attention towards the content. User experience plays a more significant role and is the master of the site.
