2Promising Crowd-Funded Small Drones
Hello and welcome to another drone related article here on TechnoFAQ. Today we are focusing on some promising drones funded by online Crowd-Funders such as the well-known IndieGoGo! The on-growing drone market has already unveiled some amazing products which have definitely made our Sci-Fi dreams come to life thanks to widely renowned robotic companies such as DJI and Walkera. However, some indie companies are trying to earn their spot in drone enthusiast hearts and consequently this big new market. We have compiled a small list of (considerably) cheap drones which, without a doubt, deserve your attention. We are talking about the Micro Drone 3.0 and the ONAGOfly.
Micro Drone 3.0

Firstly, let’s start by discussing Micro Drone 3.0, designed in London, is one of the smallest and most promising camera drones to be presented to the consumer market. It is advertised as the first fully customizable personal drone aimed at everyone who wishes to have a go at it! Regardless of the pilot skill level, Micro Drone 3.0 can be piloted by everyone. Very small and manoeuvrable but packing an HD camera, Micro Drone 3.0 is capable of capturing amazing aerial footage and stream it directly to your smartphone or tablet. This micro quadcopter combines expandable modular technology, sensor-assisted flying (which is of great help to beginners) and a micro-gimbal supporting the live stream video (First Person View). Amazing technology packed in a very small drone, among its features we can also find auto-leveling and inverted flying. If you think that by being this small it lacks performance, I’m happy to inform you that you are wrong. It is capable of flying at 45 miles per hour (20 meters per second) and has a control distance of 100 meters. It uses intelligent motion sensors which enable an accurate and precise hovering and flight. The camera (designed to be reversible) records at 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. Another amazing feature of this micro quadcopter is the capability of working together with VR cardboard glasses such as the ones manufactured by Google. On top of all this Micro Drone 3.0 is one of the few quadcopters having a fully customizable design. Print your 3D custom frames and personalize Micro Drone 3.0 according to your personal taste.

ONAGOfly

ONAGOfly is another amazing promise to the micro drone market, advertised as a palm-sized drone, ONAGOfly packs some great features. First of all it has a GPS Auto-Follow function, this means the drone can target a moving target and follow it while recording. An astonishing feature for photography and videography lovers! ONAGOfly is a nano quadcopter which has a built-in high-resolution camera, capable of recording 15MPs videos at 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second! Yes, you read it well, 15 megapixels! ONAGOfly is the first nano quadcopter capable of tracking location from your smart mobile device (connects via WiFi) and record aerial footage on the go thanks to its GPS Navigation system. Its amazing features also include obstacle avoidance, meaning ONAGOfly will fly around any obstacles it finds during its flight (very useful function for beginners as it will prevent many hits and crashes). If you thought this features would be enough, well, it gets better! ONAGOfly can take-off and landing directly from the palm of your hand. Much like Micro Drone 3.0, ONAGOfly is also capable of streaming live video via WiFi directly to your smartphone or tablet. If you are an outdoors sports fan looking for an autonomous drone to record while you focus on your sport, ONAGOfly might just be the product you have been looking for! Its built-in battery is capable of providing up to 15 minutes of flight time, ensuring it captures all your best moments!
