What is the Best Time to Post on Social Media? [Infographic]

When looking to generate leads, many companies turn straight to their website SEO or PPC, and many do not put enough emphasis on their social media. When looking to set up social media, you must try to create as many channels as possible, to ensure that you have a broad presence across each platform. Such diversifying can help with seeing where most of your audience comes from and narrowing down on your target market etc.

Importance of Social Media

Many do not see social media as a big player, especially in the early stages of their business, however, if you have the same thoughts, we encourage you to think again. Social media not only helps with social proof and helps to do things such as retarget existing followers, but it ultimately creates another channel of traffic and leads.

Having social media as another channel for leads and traffic is fantastic. The reason for this is it covers you if one of your other traffic/lead sources was to drop or slow down temporarily. For instance, Google is always continually updating its algorithm and you could always be temporarily out of service with your website due to many reasons, such as transferring hosting provider, being hacked, and more.

What is the Best Time to Post on Social Media?

Once you have your social media presence and already have a bit of a following and content, you should start looking into optimising things such as post times. Many getting started in the social media industry may not know that there are ideal times to post. As stated previously, each social platform is different, so each one will have different ideal times to post. For instance, it is best to post on Facebook between 1-3pm, but better to post on Instagram from 3-4pm.
