For vapers, their e-cigarettes or vape device is something they can’t afford to leave when traveling. Whether it’s an overseas trip or even just a short road trip, vape device is a great tool to relax and released the stressed caused by long drive or boring flight. However, it is extremely important for vapers to know the rules and regulations concerning the carriage and usage of e-cigarettes on different transportation platforms like airplanes, trains, and ships.
One of the most important things to remember when traveling with vape is to store its batteries correctly. It’s imperative to keep them away from any metals that could ignite them. Make sure that the device has no power and keep them in a container that would keep them safe.
When it comes to the e-juice, most airports allow passengers to bring 3.4 ounce or 100 ml or less of liquid inside their carry-on luggage. However, it should be stored in a clear plastic bag alongside with other liquids to ensure thorough and faster inspection in case the need arises.
More importantly, the use of vape while on a flight is a big no-no. Not only it is inconsiderate to other passengers, it is also against flying regulations which could put you into serious legal ramifications. Using e-cigarettes, similar to smoking tobacco products on planes has long been banned, so it’s better to keep your device in your luggage and wait until you get off the plane.
Before the trip, it’s also important to know the laws regarding the use of e-cigarettes on your point of destination. Some countries enforce strong regulations on vaping – with some prohibiting the use of it in particular spaces and establishments. Research about these laws in order to avoid getting in trouble with authorities in a foreign country, and to make sure that you will be able to enjoy your trip.
