Xiaomi introduces new audio products: Mi Piston bass sound and a foldable full-size headset

Xiaomi has been making ripples in the electronics industry for quite some time. The Redmi and the Mi smartphone ranges have been an instant hit all over the world. Also, the Mi Piston earphones have received positive reactions from people for being the one of the best budget earphones.

The story doesn’t end there though. Pretty recently, Xiaomi launched two new audio products, an improved version of the Piston and a full-size headset. Read on to know more about them.

Mi Piston Bass Sound edition

Description

The Mi Piston Bass Sound edition is the newest entry in the Mi Piston earphone range. A Reddot award winning design, it differs from the original Piston by featuring a better balance damping system and “Spiral Pipe” sound chamber for bass performance optimization. The looks of the earphones differ a lot from the older version by a huge extent. Instead of being gold or silver-plated, the bass sound edition comes in a brushed and anodized aluminium finish.

The earphones also act as a wired headset for your iOS or Android device and is able to make and receive calls. Xiaomi claims that the Knowles microphone present in the headset ensures superior call clarity.

Xiaomi Foldable Hi-Fi Low Impedance Headphone

Description

Xiaomi has made their entry into the foray of full-sized headphones by launching what is called the “Foldable Hi-Fi Low Impedance Headphone”. The headphones claim to provide fantastic audio quality along with noise and distortion reduction. The headphones can be folded up and stored when not in use. Featuring only 32 Ohm impedance, it can be easily driven from any device, be it a phone, a tablet, an audio player or a desktop. It also has a built-in microphone with buttons for audio and call control for PCs, smartphones and tablets, just like the Piston.
