0Canadian Apps Which Will Keep You Entertained for Hours on End
We are truly living in the age of the app. No matter what you’re looking for, you can be pretty certain that there is an app for that. Feel like eating Chinese food at 3am? There’s an app for that. Can’t find a good parking spot? There’s an app for that. Don’t feel like going to the store and want somebody to do it for you? Oh yeah, there’s an app for that too. But, sometimes, you may download an app that seems to fit your needs perfectly, only to realise that it is a US-only app which you can’t use. Well, it’s time to put those frustrations in the past as we have compiled a list of the best apps for Canadians that will keep you entertained for hours on end.
City TV
City TV is an app which brings all of your favourite TV shows right to your fingertips. Whether you want to catch up on the latest TV episodes or start binge-watching a new series, City TV has got you covered. Casumo
If you are into playing games, especially casino games, then Casumo may be the app for you. Casumo is highly recommended for fans of online casino gaming as it has the shortest possible loading times and has login times down to less than 0.6 seconds. They have welcome bonuses, a huge range of different and intuitive games, and regular promotions which keep things fresh and prevents gameplay from getting stale. Currently, iOS users are able to download the Casumo app from the Apple Store or access it via the mobile browser. Android users can simply access it via the browser, which offers a similar experience.
Jukely
There’s nothing worse than finding out your favourite band is playing in town, only to realise you’ve gotten there too late and there are no tickets left. Well, worry no more, as Jukely can help you get last-minute tickets in a pinch without any stress. While the app is free to use, it does require a monthly subscription of $25 per month, which gives you exclusive access to the guest list and information on all of the latest bands playing in your city. If you don’t want to dive right into a subscription service, they will give you a free 14-day trial so you can experience the app in full without paying right off the bat.

Playster
Sometimes, you just don’t want hundreds of apps on your phone taking up space. There’s always one for books, one for movies, one for music etc, and, while they may be great, they can take up real estate on your cell phone. However, Playster may have just solved all of these problems. With this app, you can get unlimited access to movies, TV shows, music, books, games and audiobooks – all in one place. You can choose from one of these media formats for just 95 cents per month, or combine them all for just $7.95 per month. Playster can be used on both iOS and Android devices as well as on laptop and desktops so you can access content anywhere and even stream it offline so you don’t need a constant internet signal for it to work.
EHmoji
Made by our favourite coffee chain, Tim Hortons has released an app dedicated to the struggles and joys we face as Canadians in emoji form. Express to your friends your love of Canada through the use of maple syrup, maple leaves, moose, and of course, Tim Horton’s coffee, all through the power of the mighty emoji. The only caveat is that the emoji images don’t actually appear as regular emojis do; you have to copy and paste the images into your messages from the app, and you have to install the keyboard as a 3rd party app. However, it certainly does the job.
Finding an app which works well and serves your entertainment needs perfectly can often be a struggle. Sometimes the app is full of bugs, sometimes it costs too much, and sometimes it just isn’t as good as it was advertised. However, these apps mentioned above are sure to keep you entertained for hours on end for very little money and you can rest assured that they are of the utmost quality and will provide you with a great user experience. Oh, and not to mention that they are all available and accessible to users in Canada. So, what are you waiting for? Start downloading some apps and keep the boredom far away!
