Both have some similar specifications but that ends when we take a look inside the phone and the front facing camera. Both devices are powered by Snapdragon chipsets. The Y1 comes with SD 435 which is an octa-core processor and the Y1 lite comes with SD 425 which is just a quad-core processor. The selfie centric Y1 is comes with a 16 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, whereas the Y1 lite just comes with 5 MP camera without an LED flash. The aperture is still f/2.0 for both which allows more light to fall on the camera sensor.
Y1’s base variant comes with 3GB ram and 32 of storage and Y1 lite has only 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage. Both devices can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot up to 128 GB.
