0HTC One M9 – What to Expect?
The Taiwanese manufacturer of Android and Windows smartphone, HTC started off its flagship segment with HTC One program. The HTC One M7 unveiled back in 2013 was one of the beautiful and powerful flagships of that year. Later on, HTC build a longer trail with the M7 and upgraded it to M8, a much elegant design coped with a powerful hardware spec. With the 2015 coming, we are expecting to see a great release after M8, preferably which may be called HTC One M9. Let’s see what the next Android flagship from HTC has to bring for us.
Release Date
Both of the previous generation of flagships HTC One M7 and M8 were introduced in March 2013 and 2014 respectively. So, if the Taiwanese manufacturer wants to follow this trend then it’s going to give them 6 months from now on to actually show their upcoming M9 into the market. Considering the fact that Samsung unveiled Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 Plus with a CPU bump to Snapdragon 805, HTC has to make some steps to follow the hardware trail.
Display
As LG G3 and Galaxy Note 4 already came into the market with QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels as well as touching 500 ppi pixel density, HTC One M9 has to face these kinds of threats in the market. So, they most probably upgrade their display to around 5-5.5inches to cope up with the current market of smartphone display sizes and improve the viewing angles in overall.
Although, Sapphire screen is really costly, HTC M9 might introduce this one its aluminum sturdy body. Apple iPhone 6 Plus did implement this concept but couldn’t do the design perfectly as many consumers claim that the 6 Plus did blend in their pockets. So, HTC should also keep that in mind.
Design
HTC has won the best smartphone design award of the year 2013 with HTC One M7. So, HTC should follow this trend of designing beautiful smartphones that suits the consumer needs at the best ways possible. Plus, HTC can also introduced curved display or curved edges around the bezels so one-handed use becomes easier for the users.
Specs
There’s nothing to be worried about the specs since today’s hardware is almost unparalleled to lagging issue that bothered the Android community up until Android KitKat. Since the Android Lollipop 5.0 is already here to make innumerable design changes, the same goes for HTC as well since they will definitely implement this newer Android.
On its specs department, HTC can introduce the ongoing famous Snapdragon 805 clocked as high as 2.5-2.7GHz couple with 3GB RAM. The in-built storage can bump up to 128GB as well.
Camera Improvement
Although, M8 did a great job with the 13MP shooter but it lacked certain detail in low-light scenarios. HTC can push the camera unit to a much upgraded level so that photos can incur a lot of details even under the low light.
Along with these, we’d like to see massive battery improvement from HTC. Keep tuned to see more updates regarding this upcoming flagship.
