0How to Install VUit on Amazon Firestick
There’s only a handful of ways to watch local channels on Fire TV devices. One of them is a live TV subscription from Hulu, YouTube TV, or fuboTV, etc. These over-the-top live TV services offer access to not only local channels from the subscriber’s area but also regular pay-TV channels. However, a premium live TV subscription will cost you above $50 per month, and it’s not a viable solution for those who are on a restricted budget.
This changes today with the release of a new streaming service named VUit, delivering local live content for free. It currently has 200+ local stations to offer, which has been made possible thanks to the joint venture between Syncbak and Gray Television. In case you are wondering, Gray Television owns several local stations in 94 markets across the United States. VUit saves you from the hassle of setting up an OTA Antenna and a TV Tuner, as the service can be accessed on a wide variety of streaming media players, including the Amazon Fire TV.
By installing the VUit app on Firestick, you can watch live and on-demand local news, weather forecasts, cultural events, concerts, and sports without paying for a monthly subscription fee. You can go through this guide to learn more about VUit and the installation process on Firestick.
