Honor MagicBook: An Affordable MacBook Killer
Apple might have decided to release an affordable MacBook soon. But before we dive into Apple, let’s take a look at Huawei Honor MagicBook.
Honor, the brand working with Huawei Technologies, is known for affordable phones and affordable laptops. We have already seen a couple of pretty laptops from Huawei. But this is so much different, especially for the price. I would like to call this the MacBook killer.
The MagicBook comes with a 14-inch full HD display and 250 nits bright display. Under the hood, you have the choice to get an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 (i5-8250U) or an i7 (i7-8550U) processor depending on your budget, 8 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics and 256 GB SSD. The battery is a giant 57.4W and Huawei claims that it would last 12 hours in a single charge.
Coming to interfaces, you get a USB type-C for charging, one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, one mini HDMI port and one 3.5mm headphone jack.
The laptop runs Windows 10. Using the fingerprint sensor, you can unlock the device within 0.9 seconds. Moreover, there is the Magic-Link app, which allows you to transfer files between a Huawei smartphone and the laptop. Also, the MagicBook packs 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual mics.
It will be available in three color variants, namely Glacier Silver, Star Grey, and Nebula Violet, in China.
The laptop is priced at ₹52,600 for the i5 model and ₹60000 for the i7 model.
So, if you are seeking to buy a new laptop with some powerful hardware, you should definitely take a look at this.
