iBall Premio v2.0: more power in a lesser budget

Like phones, laptops are also essential in this digital life. Yeah, almost anything can be done on the phone, but at the end of the day, size matters. Nobody has the energy to scroll through a 5- or 6-inch display for everything.

So I have something for you. I remember the old school laptops: bulky and heavy. But this phase has passed. Nowadays laptops are more powerful, lighter and more affordable. They cost almost the same as your mid-range smartphones. Companies like RDP, a Hyderabad India based start-up, sell 14-inch laptops just under ₹13000. But you still have to justify the specs by the price. There is one more company popular for selling affordable products like speakers, headphones, tablets, keyboards and laptops called iBall. In recent years, they started making low-end budget laptops. They have given us many laptops in the price of ₹14000, but now they decided to take it to another level. iBall has introduced their new laptop: the ComBook Premio V2.0. Previously, we had seen a ComBook from iBall which was powered by an Intel Atom chipset which does not require active cooling sporting 2GB DDR3 RAM, 32GB of storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via micro SD, 11.5-inch display, and 10000 mAh battery. The specs justified the price tag of ₹11999. Now, let’s move on to the present.

iBall has launched a new laptop named iBall ComBook Premio V2.0. Let’s see what we get here.

This laptop has comes with a 14-inch HD display with the resolution of 1366×768. We get an Intel Pentium quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, 4GB (DDR3) RAM and 32GB of storage and Windows 10 preloaded. For storage expansion, you can add a micro-SD up to 128 GB via a dedicated slot. But if you are still worried about storage then you can insert any HDD/SSD up to 1TB directly inside the laptop’s drive bay.

This laptop is backed by a 38Wh battery with some additional power saving options. All the major connectivity ports are available: microSD slot, mini HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. There is also another variant available for businesspeople which comes with Windows 10 Pro for office productivity. For your daily assistant, the built-in Cortana will help you perform daily tasks.

And at the end price matters. ₹20000 is the best buy price of this laptop. If you want the other variant which comes with Windows 10 Pro then you have to pay extra.

Only Gun Mustard metallic colour is available and you can purchase the laptop from your nearest electonics store.
