The Product Placement Oscars

As it’s Oscar season, the most prestigious and one of the oldest award ceremony that celebrates the works in the field of cinema, we came up with a bright idea, to celebrate the hard work in the field of product placement, we made this infographic to highlight a segment of the most persistent, best set and most all-inclusive brands in film.

The most prestigious award of all is the ‘Michael Bay Award’ for most product placements put in a film. Named after the director who’s known to have heavy product placements in almost all his ventures.

The present year’s honor goes to Entourage, which surpassed Bay himself by including more than sixty different brands into its running time. So if any of you got out this film with a curious craving to go shopping, now you know why.

As watches are our fixation, we expected to compensate the best watch product placement in a film. Doing combating off strong competition from the Tissot in Mission Impossible and Hamilton from The Martian, the victor was Omega for its scene taking execution in Spectre.
