vrBackupper – Backup Freeware for Oculus Rift

Virtual reality is very popular nowadays. VR devices become cheaper so that more and more users can buy them. Oculus Rift is one of famous VR devices. Oculus developed many VR apps and games too. Most game fans choose Oculus games to experience VR technology. The game data and other VR data are as important as normal Windows data. Thus, people plan to find some tools to protect their VR data.

Fortunately, AOMEI released a free software called vrBackupper to backup Oculus games. We find that vrBackupper is the first backup program for Windows that designed to safely backup your virtual reality data. Of course, we installed and tested it, very easy to use. Next, Let’s see how it works.

The program comes with an user-friendly and clear interface. Open it will detects your Oculus installation directory automatically. In the main screen, the default option is Migration Oculus Installation. If you want a migration task, all you have to do is selecting a new location on the computer, even external hard disk is OK. Then click Start Move, vrBackupper will help you move Oculus to another drive without data loss.

Another function of vrBackuppper is backup/restore the entire Oculus installation directory or only your apps and games. And restore to a dissimilar hardware is possible.

We think vrBackupper is very useful. Its migration feature helps you a lot when you run out of storage on the hard disk you installed Oculus in. This way, you will be able to move it to another place where you have a good amount of free space. Backup & restore helps you save time if you change a machine because you don’t need to re-install the VR games and apps twice.

Now, VR game players, welcome to download vrBackupper for free and enjoy it!
