Giffage, the GIF-Based Keyboard You’ll Want

These days, almost everyone knows what a GIF is. Those animated images are almost everywhere, being very popular on the Internet world. They are widely used on social networks and message boards to express reactions, emotions and opinions, according to what is represented by the situations and moments featured in them.

Given that, today, most people use their smartphones to browse the Web, it is perfectly normal for developers to create ways to bring the Web tendencies to mobile devices, making them even easier to access there. That is exactly the case of Giffage, the GIF-powered keyboard you will definitely want to have. Available only for iOS, this app is actually three things at once: GIF keyboard, GIF maker and GIF finder.

Giffage works, out of the box, as a regular keyboard, with all the letters, numbers and symbols. However, the main feature of the keyboard is the “Smart” section, that allows users to apply GIFs to their messages simply by tapping on them.

This app also allows users to create their own unique GIFs, by recording short videos within the app – iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus users can also create GIFs by converting their Live Photos. All the created GIFs go into the user’s favorites section.

Yet another awesome feature of Giffage is the ability to search for GIFs, using the huge and amazing library of Giphy, a website dedicated to store GIF reactions. Giffage allows users to search by category (like “animals”, “sadness” and many more) or to look at the GIFs trending at the moment. Users can be marked as “favorite”, which conveniently saves them for future use.

Giffage also stands out for its design – it looks simple and clean, but that is exactly what makes it great. If you are on the look out for a new keyboard and GIFs interest you, then Giffage is the perfect app for you to get.
